Easiest AP Classes Ranked (2026) — By Pass Rate & 5 Rate

By APScoreHub · March 29, 2026

Not all AP exams are created equal. Some have 70%+ pass rates while others have fewer than 50% of students scoring a 3 or higher. Here's a data-driven ranking of the easiest AP classes based on actual College Board score data.

How We Ranked Difficulty

We used three metrics:

  1. Pass rate — % of students scoring 3 or higher
  2. 5 rate — % of students scoring a 5
  3. Student-reported difficulty — workload and conceptual difficulty

An "easy" AP exam is one where a prepared student has a high chance of scoring 3 or above.
