When Do AP Scores Come Out 2026? Exact Dates & What to Expect

By APScoreHub · March 29, 2026

AP exams are in May, but scores don't come out until July. Here's everything you need to know about the 2026 AP score release — exact dates, what time they drop, and how to check them.

When Do AP Scores Come Out 2026?

AP scores for the 2026 exam season are expected to be released in mid-July 2026 — typically the second or third week of July.

College Board has not yet announced the exact date for 2026 scores. Based on historical release dates:

Year Score Release Date
2025 July 5, 2025
2024 July 5, 2024
2023 July 5, 2023
2022 July 5, 2022

Expected 2026 release: around July 5–10, 2026.

College Board typically releases scores on a rolling basis starting in early July, with all scores available within the first two weeks.

What Time Do AP Scores Come Out?

Scores are released at 8:00 AM ET on the release date. If you're in a different time zone:

Time Zone Release Time
Eastern (ET) 8:00 AM
Central (CT) 7:00 AM
Mountain (MT) 6:00 AM
Pacific (PT) 5:00 AM
Belgium / France (CET) 2:00 PM
UK (BST) 1:00 PM

The site often experiences heavy traffic right at release — expect slow loading times for the first hour.

How to Check Your AP Scores

  1. Go to collegeboard.org
  2. Sign in to your College Board account
  3. Click on "AP Scores" in your dashboard
  4. Select the year (2026)

If you don't have a College Board account, create one using the same email you registered for the exam with. Your AP ID (given by your school) can help link your scores if they don't appear automatically.

Do AP Scores Come Out at Different Times for Different Exams?

No — all AP exam scores for a given year are released at the same time. You don't get your AP Biology score before your AP Calculus score, or vice versa. All scores drop at once on the release date.

Can You See Your Scores Early?

No official early access exists. Any website or service claiming to give you early AP scores is a scam.

The only exception: some students report their scores appearing slightly earlier if they check from certain international time zones, but this is inconsistent and not guaranteed.
